I'm positive. after the scan the TM1500 then sorts into A-Z,TP and CAS. I search against transponder, viaccess and J but no JSC or Al jazeera sports.

I've just checked here in North Yorkshire and the entire bouquet is coming in stonkingly!

Are you positive you've got the Polarity right (H, not V)?

Edit: I see you've Auto Scanned, so it should have picked up the correct Polarity anyway.

The only thing that might be worth thinking about is Interference with a fundamental or harmonic at around 1546 MHz (11296 TP - 9750 LNB LO) - not a DECT phone, but maybe you have Wireless Routers around the place?

I have a wireless router so i will give it a go with that off when i get home. It was just strange that this morning around 7am I tried again and the signal had dropped a lot? but was fine last night (weather was ok). also the router would have been turned off. I might just turn everything off when I try thanks for the advice!

turned off all electrical equipment around my receiver, wondering if it was my Wii wireless interfering? anyway channels added and all good.............for now.

just came home, put the card in - signal back up to 68% quality! - scanned and it found all 8 JSC sports channels!!!! I cant believe it!
weather is good though.

All 8 channels are there as expected .
I asked for the card to be fully activated before it was dispatched. I have been checking through out the evening and there is some very slight break up now and then, I think I will defo be upgrading my dish and lnb if a small dish realignment doesnt improve the Quality strength (or it could be those bloody trees! ). I will post what the subscription details are inthe smart card menu, it has 3 different dates, the top one defo says 1/9/2011. I will post the full details and see if anyone makes sense of it.

Testcards for forthcoming Al Jazeera sports channels. All channels are showing the same cards, and will certainly scramble once the services start.

Hello, I am French, I bought my aljazeera card(map) sport sport on July 22nd, 2009 in Morocco, my card(map) deciphers chaines jsc 1+2+3+4 I do not decipher chaines 5+6+7+8. When I go on the site _https: // sbs.aljazeerasport.net / SelfService / information are (Information: This Card still valid and will be expired one in 15/04/2010 The Channels you are allowed to watch now (??????????????):
Aljazeera Sport 1 Aljazeera Sport 2). The site aljazeera sport confirms that my chaines deciphered is 1+2 on my card(map) I decipher well chaines 1+2+3+4 thus I does not understand(include) why on the site of aljazzera sport says to me that decipher that chaines 1+2. I have another question I would like to know how to activate the other chaines via viaccess for chaines 5+6+7+8?????? J ' looks forward to your answer thank you very much

the first date should be the activation date
the second one shuld be the expiration date (1 year after the activation)
the 3rd one should be the new expiration date after the upgrade (6 or 7 months more than expiration date)

I advice you to check the alignment before changing dish + lnb but in case you like to upgrade your existing system I just got Gibertini 100 with Inverto Black Ultra single

That may have no merit: Headline Noise figures are often only representative of Noise Performance over a small part of the Band and the only real way to check the most compatible LNB for use with your system and for your own viewing requirements is to try two or three different types (One should always have a spare(s) anyway, and they are, fortunately, not expensive items).

The thing is (and I'm sure you know this!) if you want more signal, the only sure way is to grow your Dish.

But do try the other LNBs anyway - nothing to lose

Good for you m8 !!! In Itay many people can't get the upgrade after having paid it upfront...included my father .

Actually I got another news: no Viacess cards anymore....in the future only in Irdeto...so let's be happy if we can keep on watching Aljaeera sport channels until the expiring date.

Regarding your saystem upgrade, it looks like you don't dare to re-align the dish...changing the lnb's won't bring you big quality improvements

as u say I am not keen on attempting to move my dish myself, so will have to get somone to do it for me.
The strength for all TP's is around 88 to 90% but its the quality I need to improve as it sits around 65 to 68%. think I need to start a new thread for this if im going to start asking more questions

Glasgow is a bit far away for me otherwise I would come to align your dish. ...

I agree with you in opening a new thread about that or first with the botton "search", try to obtain some info about quality % in your area

You won't believe it: there is message in Arabic on the Al Jazeera channels saying, hopefully the translatore is wrong, the owners of the cards with only 4 channels must do the upgrade or they will get only AlJazeera+1 and 2+.....NOT even +3 and 4+ anymore....

by an Arabic shop I paid for me father's one 71 dollars...here in Europe I have heard much more.

What is really frustrating is why some cards don't get the upgrade...they work perfectly

One basic question.Does someone here bought the Aljazeera Card,opened only JSC Sports +1.+2+3+4? .I would like to open the other channels even if i have to pay.But i dont know how i can do that.I bought my card in Ebay for 80 pounds.
