here is the one i´m using lately _http://www.jsccards.com/ar/ ,simply great before i used ADM but i had to wait days and sometimes a week to reactivate a card ,with the new one only 1hour (day time) after paypal payment on top the guys calls you from Qatar by phone to reconfirm the card number and thank you for the payment ,check it out you wont be desapointed...cheers

you know what? I really thank you because you brought a sensible topic on this matter: I'm one out 10 persons who renewed the viaccess card (to 8 channels) on the JSC web site. When we look at the rights it is correctly activated for the 8 channels but in reality we can't watch not even the 2 or 4 like before paying Al Jazeera. We are sending e-mails, faxes e making phone calls in Qatar in order to solve the problem. Are you aware of that problem? Any solution? We also tried to re-send the signal on our cards but nothing...frustrating !!!

aparently they have a bug in viaccess system when reactivated with a new upgrade they just add class 25(in viaccess terms) when it should add another class 255 with the same expiry date ....i´m in contact with them my self ..a solution should be out soon ...regards

thanks for keeping me posted...I just would like to inform you that tonight or tomorrow night something should happen because one of my 6 expiring dates is 30/09...I will keep the receiver on from 21.00 (NL time) because it will be midnight in Riyadh (+ 3 hours) .

Why don't you do the same?

by the way ,,could you try the same card (not working one on hotbird with valid dates ) on Nilsat ..i bet you it will work....cheers

oops ,i didnt realize that my decoder had an emulator and clears JSC+ channels thru Nilsat without the need of a card

...no problem but I did all kind of tries...even putting the card in th e diablo 2.3...nada de nada...it is blocked and they are the onlu one's who can fix it

PS could you please explain a bit more the sentence " i´m in contact with them my self ..a solution should be out soon ..."...? what do they have in mind for fixing the problem?

my mate from lybia has just brought in a lot of al jazeera cards to sell - they already have the +1-+8 channels on them - but the suprising thing is that they are for hotbird

but are iredeto cards not viaccess!

Interesting, I have 2 "Nilesat" jsc 1-8 cards. One is working on a Hotbird satellite no problem. The other sold to a friend using it for cardshare but having problems sharing it on Nilesat but working okay on Hotbird.

its quite normal so much interest , Al jazeera sport become very hot package here in europe simply for its valut and all 8 channels are packed with all sort of football ..shame they are making a big mess with this activation stories

i know someone who works with aljazeera technical staff (not directly with aljazeera sport ) he is trying to help as much as he can ,he gave me some infos about whats going on in their mess

yday night nothing happend with unblocking the card due to the 30/09 ...if also tonight will be the same then I can send it back to the UK e-shop where I bought it and see if they can replace it.But I'm not sure yet ...shall I wait for news from your side? can't I send it to your aljazeera technical guy?

no need to send the card anywhere ,the best thing is send an email with this title "Full reactivation needed" , to callcentre @ aljazeerasport.net and put the serial number(s) explaining that you been trying to refresh the signal many times with no success,please have some patience to have a reply but mean while leave the card on a correct decoder on JSC+5 ,i´v just reactivated 8 cards on 1 go having exactly the same problem like yours

and if you have failures check your internet provider..may be it has some blocking to arabia ,in that case use a proxy from the middle east ..good luck..

BTW, thanks for the recommendation Pepino. I got a card (Viaccess 3.0) from Dream or Demon, whatever it's called. 85€ + IVA. I think it's gone up to 90€ now. I put it in the Manhattan and it took about 5 minutes to activate. Now it says: From 16.09.2009 to 16.09.2010. All 8 channels work. I don't have an HD receiver but that is supposed to work too.

Just to let you know that the card was sent back to the e-shop in UK and after having worked very close to Aljazeera technicians in order to reset the card, the shop sent me a brand new one with 8 channels and valid 1 year as of this week .......Gentlemen !!!

i sent them today an email about Full activation , so please tell me if you got a resolve to this problem .

first welcome on Board,
if you have Simba with 2slots i beleive its model 202 then it should work with your card providing its viaccess of course,the best way is to call them personaly in qatar and ask for the technical departement then expalin your problem ask for this name i´m sure you will guess it W***D ...cheers

yes i have a Simba 202 and a Dreambox Dm800 , but i prefer the Simba for card .
i already called them , and they just asked me to put the card in the receiver and wait in +5 .
do you think i should ask them to do a full reactivating to my card .
and the problem is that i ignor why with CLASS 25 the card didn't work ,should i ask them to modify it to 225 ?
