I have two Sky boxes and a multi-room subscription. The boxes have been quite happily calling home over SIP VOIP via Draytel (-www.draytel.org) for many months via a VigorTalk ATA connected to my D-LINK router.
I have recently obtained a Draytek Vigor 2800vg router which has two telephone ports (i.e. built in ATAs in effect). I have configured one of them for the same DrayTel account with as far as possible the same parameters as in the original ATA and can make phone calls fine, but the Sky boxes can no longer successfully call home
Interestingly, connecting the original ATA to a port on the new router and connecting the Sky boxes to it also fails to dial home suggesting the problem is not with the VOIP configuration on the router.
If anyone has experience of configuring this router in such a way that it will allow Sky dial back correctly then please could you help me out.
Many thanks.
