I can confirm from Gran Canaria that we are receiving both Horizontal and Vertical polarity from Astra 1N UK Spot beam. I have a 2.4m Andrews/Channel Master offset dish, Inverto Black Ultra quad LNB and Samsung DRX890/Thomson Sky HD boxes. Cable is regular CT100 approx. 8 meter run.
i can confirm that i get bugger all on a 1m in tenerife![]()
PB Lanzarote - No reception from the current 1N horizontal transponders using a Tecatal 1.35m at this time.
Fuerteventura - 3.7 metre Prime Focus Dish with C120 Quad LNB. Still no Vertical but Horizontal coming in at 80% quality compared to 60-62% on 2D.
1.8 metre - No Horizontal 1N.
North Fuerteventura. Nothing whatsoever on a 1.35m.
OK. Just caught up on the 1N chat, most people are saying that they have lost C5.
I am still receiving C5HD on the EPG.
Re-scanned the 5 family bouquet on 12422H which had been deleted yesterday, my box found all the tags which I saved. Whilst trying to view, all showed "No satellite signal..." with one exception, for literally a few seconds, the 7720 worked then went off as well. Very strange. Maybe there is more to it than initially meets the eye!
Please NO chat. Read post #884 here http://www.satellites.co.uk/forums/a...ml#post1012037 (Astra 1N tests - latest chat)
I can get nothing on my 1.35 offset dish In Nazaret lanzarote but at the bar in Costa teguise with a 3.5m dish it is coming though strong on all channels. If Sky boxes signal strength to be believed it is stronger then the Astra 2D signal by more than anther quarter. My friend Also in nazaret has a 2.4 offset dish and is also able to receive 1N ok. All tested with HD boxes.
