    New Member seeks info


    Got blue ice cam and CAS II usb programmer. I also got dish lnb and reciever with ci slot. Disk is pointing at hotbird 13 deg east i think. Looking for a guide as to uploading files , converting from hex to bin etc... etc...

    Any info would be grate

    What receiver do you have and what free-to-air channels you you get just now?

    This will help identify the satellites you're pointing at.

    This site has a lot of information - have you tried the search option?

    At the top of each forum are stickies with information that is often asked.

    Half the fun is finding the bits you want.

    Have a read and then ask some more, you'll find the people here very helpful - I know I did.

    From the equipment listed you should have a head start.

    Info on cas ii and blue ice cam

    can someone tell me - when using the cas ii to upload files to blue ice cam what format does the file have to be in ????

    From what i have been reading is it .bin (binary) and if so does anyone know a program to convert from hex to bin????

    You can do it here... bin > hex or hex > bin

    I have got strong 4500 with universial lnb pointing at hotbird 13 deg east of south picking up channels listed on www.lyngsat.com/europe
