C*nax, MR and Tit card: works on/off

I have just tried my first attempt at viewing C*nax with a MR and Tit card and I have a slight problem:

It works (ie: channels clear) for a few minutes, but then the channels get blocked again, and I have to switch my receiver off and on again to make the channels clear.

Is this a common problem? I have the following set up:
    -Samsung 9500
    -MR 1.08
    -Blue Tit Card, OS1.06

I've heard that the Tit OS 1.03 works better with Conax. Is this true? Should I try downgrading my Tit card OS? Or can that damage it?

It would appear that the OS 1.03 does work better on some CAM/Receivers, but it is possible to kill your card whilst downgrading.

I guess I'll have to give it a try and keep my fingers crossed.

Have there been more known cases of success or failure when downgrading?

Conax on 1w rocks, I never move the dish when it's open. I use OS 103 on the tit and all is fine. At first I was using OS 106 but the receiver did not like that so downgraded to 103, and did worry about killing the card, it locked up on ..sending trapcode for about 30min and while I was looking for a sharp knife to slit my wrists it came back.
    Don't mind my spelling

I've heard alot of people have this "Trapping" problem. I also had it at first, but then realized my InfUSB "reste-polarity" was not on Pheonix. When I changed that, I had no problems at all with Trapping or anything else, all went smooth (knock on wood).

Also, I've read alot of warnings about downgrading the Tit OS (that it can kill your card), but it worked fine for me, and all the posts I've read from other people say it worked fine for them too. I haven't read any posts from someone saying they killed their card like that.

How often do the C*nax codes change? Every 3 or 4 weeks?

There is a post somewhere on here where doing so messed up their card Erik1, admittedly any form of programming has the potential to kill the card, but the warning must be considered, particularly given the nature of the titanium supplies at present.
