TVN Turbo - Polish television channel has got a licence issued by Krajowa Rada Radiofonii i Telewizji. The channel about cars and motorization will officially start on Hot Bird on 12th of December at 6pm. The aim of the channel is to reach male audience.

TVN Turbo is a new television channel about cars and motorization for male audience from the big cities.

The most important programming of TVN Turbo channel is 'Automaniak' lead by Martyna Wojciechowska. It will also broadcast other Polish and European motorization programmes: "De Lux" about luxury cards, the advices for second hand car`s owners in "Garaż", The best leasing and insurance offers in "Motorynek" etc. Channels will also show the best British motorization programme "Top Gear".


TVN Turbo channel will be available in cable networks and in Polish digital packages. It will be offered in the package together with TVN24 and TVN Meteo channels. At the moment TVN 24 reaches 3,45 mln Polish houses (25,3%) according to AGB Polska.

At first few weeks TVN Turbo digital broadcast will be available in clear. It will broadcasts from Eutelsat`s Hot Bird 1 (13°E, transponder nr 10, 11.407,5 MHz, polarization V, SR=27500, FEC=3/4)

In 2004 year, ITI Group is to launch following two television channels: TVN Internationa (iTVN) and TVN Zdrowie Uroda.
