    My System: Zone1, SkyHD, Thomson DSI4214, Dreambox DM800 HD PVR -Nab BH0.12, TM5200, FR Penta85, Gibertini 104cm, SNH-031, 36v Actuator, Vbox-II, 42°E - 30°W, Sling Media. Meters: Televes H45 Digital Processing MPEG4 Analyser, Satlook Micro+G2 NIT, Rover SDM-1s

    9e and 10e

    Equipment: Technomate receiver set up

Well as we know a 90cm dish has approx 2dB beamwidth angle so aligned to 9e it will be able to see 10e and 8e just.

If a simple blind scan on 9e is carried out, it will pick up all Tp's that are also on 10e ie (10.7 to 12.7Ghz)

I am able to blind scan 9e from 11.727 to 12.074 which in turn will NOT store or see anything from 10e but....
as 10e has transponders from 10.960 to 11.692 and then from 12.520 to 12.744, any suggestions of how to scan for that only thus not storing 9e under 10e if that makes sence

How about not doing a blind scan and entering the transponder details manually and doing a normal scan?

The blind scan won't work as it will just pick everything up in the frequency range you enter.

Cheers Robbo, I see you have a t/mate Rx too.

It seems to be a good idea. As there isn't that many Tp's on 9e, I can do what you have suggested.

What's the best way to delete what Tp's I got stored in on 9e, apart from downloading my oldish channels list back to the box.

p.s is that you started up on another forum I see yesterday (a***t forum) or someone else posing as you, lol

In the advanced setup menu, you can removed TPs, just as easily as you can add them.

Yeah, I have been a member on the Darkside for 14 months and made 13 posts. Found out that the TM6800 does ITV HD, so it was worth a quick visit.

I meant Advanced Search, I was not by my receiver. Select a transponder and press the yellow button.

    Yes got it

Might be just as easy as to delete 9e from list and add a new sat and start again. I will see what's the simplest. Either way, what you suggested will do the trick.

    Cheers
