i am going to buy a new reciver for christmas how ever i am thinking of geting a motorised dish.the dish would have to be 1 meter anyway i would like gotax?as to avoid haveing to find the satellites.recomendations prices etc gratefull for any help

Just make sure your receiver and motor are USALS compatible. USALS= Goto x (not gotax).
Can't recommend particular receivers, check out one of the satellite enthusiasts' magazine for prices.

If you follow the advice you can find on this site and with a basic DIY knowledge and a lot (yes a lot) of patience then you can do it yourself. If budget is not limited it is worth getting in the experts who will tend to do the job quicker.

I spent about two weeks tweeking to get the dish set up correctly.

I also use a DreamBox which has a choice of software and not all support the GoToXX functions as well as you would expect.

My advice would be to try it yourself you have nothing to lose!

budget? a sixteen year old boy i have to save for months to buy a lnb any way i was looking at the manhattan plaza st -200 does any body know if the picture realy is that bad

if u want one which will receive only FTA channels they are as cheap as 60 Euro
