i was actually thinking of manually moving the dish right round till its up against the wall?

that way it wont wobble about in high wind.... but i dont know if forcing it into the wall will be good for the motor?

if we all get our heads together im sure we can think of something?? im not impressed having to realign everytime the wind gets heavy

Friend of mine in his pre motor days used several different lengths of light chain bolted to the wall and hooked into the lip of the dish through two drilled holes to get 19 / 13 e. Maybe two lengths that fit your fave Sat and hooked in to keep it steady in gales then at least you can still watch something

ummm yea, better than nothing. and by locking it to 13e i can still watch the footy

i have to wonder if it is better to get a bigger dish, one that actually sits in the garden?? then in high winds i can cover it up.

good excuse to tell the misses why i need a HUGE dish too

My System: Technomate 5500CIP+ motorised receiver without diseqc 90cm dish

    what happened?

the wind died down late afternoon and all channels were back up and running, though some were breaking up a bit. Now the wind is calm but I am getting no signal on anything - including all free to air channels - except TPS. How can I get TPS and nothing else, anyone?

All is pretty much normal again now so I wonder if weather conditions elsewhere caused the problems as I just saw Russian telly footage of major gale damage and flooding in Denmark, Germany, Estonia.

Now now, engineering excellence comes as standard in Yorkshire. The impossible we do straight away, miracles take a tad longer, Rome wasn,t built in a day, but I didn't do that job, I could go on but I'm blushing and farting now. Thinking of applying for a job as a S*Y installer but I would probably tighten the mountings too tight and not have any return work to charge exhorbitant fees for.
    Good day kind sir
