    My System: Receiver:Mvision & Openbox. Dish: Gibertini 85CM Satellites:28E, 19E, and 13E. Motorised Gibertini 1M

    Gibertini 1.2 for 26E

I am looking to buy gibertini 1.2M for 26E reception particularly for the MBC channels reception. Will this dish be big enough for the reception of the channels or do I need a bigger dish? I live arounf luton

is the signal pretty stable on your 1.2M even during rain?.. I just don't want to buy the dish and find out it is a waste after all...anybody have expreince with reciveing 26E around luton, london... and their recommended dish size? 1.2M is about the highest I can go and that will be pushing my luck with the neigbours and the misses

No problems here with the Gibertini, and Badr is a far better and more stable signal in the UK than Nilesat.

Only if you want a bigger dish - Nilesat downlink strengths are rubbish in much of the uk

I'm pleased to say I'm not one of them .
Set up correctly It should be fine, although you will not recieve ALL the transponders. Check the link in the earlier post to see which you can expect to get

MTI 0.3, although the Inverto or Invacom or Sharp are also good bets.

i use an 88cm dish in the garden and the signal i get with a tv next to the dish can vary from 50% to last night it touched 59% on the mbc stuff, its well worth getting for those channels mbc 2, 4 and mbc action and also the dubai 1 is ok as well, and aljazeera show the fa cup matches and dubai sports show the budasliga fta, i myself like the films, i get that signal from the north east about 300 miles up the road from you and it might not sound a big signal but the picture does not go off very often and when it does it comes back on quite quick, i use to have a 1.6 dish in my garden getting the 7w and recieving the mbc channels on that but i had more trouble with that dish, wind , rain etc! than i do with the 88cm dish
