    Hi,

are you paying somebody for your share?
If you are, it's probably overload on their server.

It goes blocky when the keys change and the box you are connected to cant keep up with the key changes. For Sky the keys often change ever 30 seconds or so thusit can be quite a load on the card.

Reasons for slow updates can include
    - an overloaded card (a greedy c/s seller)
    - a slow link on the broadband system
    - your broadband being too slow

2 hops is pushing it for a popular card - you are connecting to another box which is connecting onwards to a third box.

Well you could pay Sky for a proper sub rather than using some dodgy c/s supplier......

Unless you are using dialup, it must be on their end. Turn off any computers in the house to make sure there are no programs overloading the network. If the problem persists then, its definitely on their end.

I wouldn't join a pay server anyway, but if the card you are accessing is 2 hops away, then the chances are, they are charging you for access to a card that doesn't belong to them.

I would suggest you ditch them!

PS: belkins are known to be troublesome.
