Question about Dreambox backup

Hi everyone im quite new to the dreambox but have gotten used it quite quickly. I have made a full backup image of my box using this:
"BACKUP your image:
1) Telnet to your dreambox, login as root
2) type in cat /dev/mtd/3 > /var/tmp/backup.img
3) you can download this image to your pc via ftp"

My question is will it restore C*** S**** information aswell.

Are you using CCcam? Just copy /etc/cccam.cfg to your computer.

The backup should contain all the information as well.

Hi Mhku i am using c... sh... but it seems with mg, is this file in var/keys/mgcam.cfg?
i need to flash my 500 but i am afraid to cancel my sh...
will the c... s... work with nabilo as my 500 is a clone and i think it's better with nabilo then with gemini!!
give me your opinion pls

Yes MGcamd will work on Nabilo.

You've already been given the solution to your problem here.......

....... open up CCcam.cfg in TuxCommander and note down the settings before flashing.

If your using MGcamd then note down the contents of .../keys/mg_cf instead of CCcam.cfg. You might also want to note the contents of newcamd.list
