Controlling a DM500+ via the ethernet port

Hi

Has anyone experimented with controlling a DM500+ via its Ethernet port?

I need to be able to select channels (TV and Radio) and power on/off or standby. Is there any documentation around that might give me a start? I am writing my own application (on windows, sorry) so can organize whatever control is necessary over the Ethernet.
