ws ftp pro

hi been looking for ws ftp pro on the net i tried a link to fosi which i downloaded wsftp 5.5 which i have not had much luck with. is this program the same as ws ftp pro or if it is not will it do the same as ws pro .if any one has a link to where i can get ws ftp pro for free that would be good .if not i will buy it .

You don´t really need any pro program mate

Any free will do

The old fosi version does the same as the newer versions.

I use FileZilla and it's totally free.

If you use Firefox, there's Fireftp which I find very good, and similar to Konqueror's FTP for those who use KDE in Linux.

well i just installed firefox browser and my browsing is twice as fast a result on its own.

hi i all day 3 trying to get ws ftp to connect have my db connected to my netgear router with a either net cable .when i go into router loging and click attached devices dreambox is there .i pinged it and all ok.i also allowed external access on the router setup. when i click connect on ws ftp you have to enter ip add....port....user name ...and password.i enter the ip of my laptop i tried all different port no as i dont fully understand which one i need my dreambox is port 80.as for user name and password i entered the same as my router.
