Hi all,

I daresay somebody has asked before but is it possible to connect to my dreambox from a pc or laptop in another place to watch a tv channel ?

without any trouble. Just type in the IP adress of your dreambox to enter the web interface, and press the web-tv link.
it might be that you need to install VLC on your pc. if so, just google for it.

Is this for if I'm on the same network or can I work it so I can connect from any where ?

anywhere, for as long as you can connect to the IP adress of your dreambox. This may mean forwarding port 80 of your router (if uou have one) to the internal IP adress of your dreambox.

however ............
if your internet upload capacity is limited, the stream may be broken so badly that it becomes unwatchable.
