TPS on dreambox 7025
it is more than a week now and am trying to clear tps on my db, but only blank i get, so therfore i gave up and searching helo in this forum.
i read som threads regarding this like:

did nearly all steps dlemaire did but not succeed
note that i have no :var/keys, but usr/keys
no var/scce, but usr/scce
no var/tuxbox/ , but etc/tuxbox
so i did like this:
-loaded the gemini 1.80
-loaded Evocamd 2.11 EMU from the blupanel
-loaded Evocamd-config 2.02 (bluepanel)
-FTB satan bundle to var/tmp and manual install from db.
-FTB FTP camd_cfg from JFK
rebooted and nothing.
any idea what to do?

usr/keys is a softlink to var/keys (or vice versa).

What is the date of the satan keys? Does it have the latest TPS_AES.txt?

Rename camd_cfg as it will overwrite TPS_AES.txt

I knew it will be u the first who welcome me thanks
i have no keys folder under var..i have usr/keys it is NOT a softlink to var/keys,
renamed camd_cfg to camdcfg_(yes TPS_AES.txt updated with latest keys)
and restarted db, till black screen!!

Are any channels being decoded or is it just TPS that is failing?

Did you re FTP TPS_AES.txt into your keys folder?

i cannot decode any channel, not only tps
yes i re-ftp TPS_AES.txt to usr/keys.

What image are you using as well?

Does your 7025 put the keys correctly into usr/keys and usr/scce?

Use a telnet session make a softlink between var/ keys and usr/keys:

ln -s usr/keys var/

If you multi boot the keys go inside the image mount folder not in /var or /usr

i dont know if it puts keys correctly to usr/key and usr/scce...blue panel has no keys selection!!!
can u please describe how to make that soft link..am a newbeginner to db and telnet...i am having dcc running now

Get an FTP program like FileZilla and you can "Browse" your dreambox file structure.

It should mention how to telnet in the Dreambox Idiot's guide- if you haven't read it do it now.

FTP program i have one, i have dcc too..
idiot guide i read that b4, checked again through index , but nothing about telnet and its commands there

my db is connected through router and i can full acces it by the ftp program.

Telnet:

open a command prompt on your PC

start > run > cmd

telnet 10.0.0.100 (replace with your Dreambox IP)

ln -s usr/keys var/

This will create a softlink (symlink) called var/keys that will point to usr/keys

Did you install evocamd for a 7025? Have you tried camd3? Again, must be for a 7025

i have full access to my db with ftp and telnet
when i type the command ln -s usr/keys var/
i get this: ln var/: File exists

Yes i installed evocamd 2.11 for 7025 and Evocamd-config 2.02
No didn´t try camd 3 yet.

yes evocamd is default and enabled

maybe u r right...regarding the structure..
missunderstod regarding IHAD (got in the fly hydra )
yes i downloaded config via blue panel..supposed to be 7025 compatible

try key converter follow the instructions find a softcam.key file and make it keylist.txt (evo cam) copy the new file in usr/keys it should works

All I can do is tell you what I did to get I2 Card to work on my 7025.

After loading Gemini 1.18 and scan for the channels on the satellite (make sure you get the channels you want)
Go to blue panel select 2 Addons, download all the Cams in camd and camd-config.
Start each of cams including NewCS, til you get one of them to work.

I dont know anything about the keys files, but I guess if you have got the right keys in the right file and your config files point ot those files it should work.

Try MGCamd1.15/NewCS1.18 as these are the lastest versions.

If you can telnet to your box try to start the cams manually, this will give oyu info about what the cams are doing and if your config anf keys files are good.

Be patient, keep trying it'll work eventually
