Fibo 1.2M dish and Moteck SG2100?

I am getting the Fibo 1.2M which will arrive in the next week or after that.

I will not use the original motormount but have thought about fitting the Jaeger SMR1224 motor to it and modify it a bit which doesn't seem to be a problem for me.

However the 36volt motor generates pretty much noise and i can hear it from the balcony into my livingroom even if i have the balcony door closed.

So my question would be if i could fit a Moteck SG2100 to the dish without breaking down?

What will happen if it brakes down? does the motor just tear apart or does the pole on the motor get loose and fall down?

I can live with that the motor brakes, but it is no fun if the short pole on the motor fall down with the dish which will damage the dish as well.

My System: Fibo 90cm-Maybe the only one in Japan!!!
Usually the motor will just burnout I believe and not fallapart, I have a Pansat PM900 and there are bolts that go through the motor arm that attach to the polar mount, I say go for the Moteck its good, plus you have more receiver options without having to run a seperate box.

Yeah, the new Topfield TF5600 with built-in WLAN that comes in October.

I put 2 SMW X-Line LNBs and SMW OMT and it will kick some ass seriously.

My System: LNB, Dish, Motor, Cable, Receivers all taken down and donated to a newbie.
    @ Likvid

This motor claims to be capable of driving a 1.4m aluminium dish

I beleive it's a Pansat model if i'm not wrong, cheap quality, thanks anyway

Will try the Moteck, if that brakes i will try Stab, and if that brakes i will buy the SMR1224 as last resort, i would buy the SMR1224 but i am afraid it will make too much noise where i live as i am going to have it on the balcony.

Redalto: that looks EXACTLY LIKE my pansat PM2500...you can get those on Ebay USA for $90...The biggest you dish you would want to use with it is a 90....Personally I would'nt put a Fibo on it....That like buying a Ferrari and grabing the "On Sale" tires at a hardware store....
