Well, I always tell my boys that if you dish it out you got to be man enough to take back if it goes the other way. But it is all friendly football banter of course.
You see, the nice thing about having educated my boys the old fashioned way is that I have absolutely no trouble with them. Once they understood the meaning of "no", it is no problem, we get along fine. The problem is with those kids whose parents allow them to do anything they want anytime....All I know that wherever they go, people tell me how well behaved they are - which make me immensly proud.

I think Craig Bellamy was trying to dish out some of the old-fashioned stuff as well on Sunday![]()

Well, Bellamy is just an idiot IMHO
Regarding the traditional "education": I received a true traditional education in the true old fashioned way - which I really think is wrong. There must be(and evidently is) a middle way between slapping your child for every little thing (like our parents did) and a good old fashioned beating for "bad" things, and the modern "let the child do everything he likes without any consequences".
I for one never had to beat my children, other than a slap on their hand for when they tried to repeatedly stick something in an electrical socket.
The problem with modern kids is not the lack of slapping, it is the lack of clear boundries.
And this goes for footballers as well, to come back to the subject. They are allowed to get away with everything, get too much money and behave like primaballerinas. Unfortunately the pendulum has swung way too much in their direction, I hope it will soon turn the other way.

For those not in this season's UniSat Champions League, remember - Top 5 this season in PL SupaLiga is your guaranteed passport to UCL 2010/11!

Drat - no big advance this week. No small advance either so Im perched at 20th![]()
(Weekly scores available in attached full table, which now includes full transfer breakdown!)
It’s been truly exciting stuff in the Premier League with tons of goals, Adebayor’s hero to zero performance versus Arsenal and United’s last second defeat of City a week later, and it has been equally exciting in the PL SupaLiga, with such unpredictability leaving the managers’ heads in a spin.
Awarding MotM was tough this time, with three standout candidates – including myself(!) – but in the end the gong goes to the manager and team that has lead the league for the majority of the month – john_graydon is September Manager of the Month.
Johnny, manager of Calcio Carlo Ancelotti, excelled in GW5 with a top score of 69pts to push his team to the top of the table. The Irishman held out the opposition in GW6, and only relinquished 1st place this weekend to my team, Dynamo Sol, who end another month on the top step as well as recording the best score so far in GW7 – 76pts. Johnny’s Calcio currently share 2nd with Toondrastic, as managed by malcolm.
Defending champion mhku, who only just missed out on this month’s award, has guided Mucho Calor Huy! 7 places up the table to 5th, while current F1 SupaLiga leader, Norm, has snuck back into the top 5 this weekend. Donkeytown are 4th.
Rolfw (8th) and T_G Jnr (7th) both had great GW6’s, scoring 75pts and 71pts respectively with Satellite Screwballs and RED United, and finally football-shy Analoguesat is no longer propping up the table, as Bordersat are 20th at present.
EDIT - Obviously, it's meant to read 'Month Change', not 'Year Change'

UniSat Results
IUF Grabs 53-46 Purple Mob
Dogs Bollox 45-40 Rapscallions
UMBAA Laugh 43-51 RED United
Donkeytown 37-32 Toondrastic
Badm******s 45-37 AC Few
Satellites RED 64-48 Mucho Calor Huy!
T_G remains on top with Satellites RED, beating PL SupaLiga champion mhku’s Mucho Calor Huy! 64-48 in the game of the week. Another double strike for Cristiano Ronaldo, this time against Marseille as Real Madrid’s ‘Galacticos’ won 3-0 at the Bernabeu, handed T_G the bulk of his points for a second matchday.
Only two other teams have 100% records – Dogs Bollox with neilzilla at the helm is up to 2nd with a narrow win over fellow Den League team Rapscallions, while tomthebomb1968’s Badm******s denied AC Few a second win to go 3rd with much credit going to fabulous Freddie Kanoute who was man of the match in Sevilla’s 4-1 drumming of Rangers at Ibrox.
The leader leader’s son, T_G Jnr, is now in 4th after beating sonic’s Laughs 51pts to 43, but RED United are actually the 2nd highest scorers overall.
UCL champions Donkeytown beat fellow SupaLiga team Toondrastic 37-32, while the other all-Den game between IUF Grabs and Purple Mob ended 53-46 in favour of IUFG’s squad.
Matchday 3 see table-toppers Satellites RED play AC Few, Dogs Bollox try to defend their 100% record versus Purple Mob, and Badm******s should beat Toondrastic if their results are anything to go by.

Strange scoring system, this...
Lol, well I thought I'd give this head-to-head system a try for this season - I wouldn't do it for the Premier League because it would mess up the records and tradition that (I hope) the league has built up, but for the UCL I think there should be more freedom to experimentation. Also, I'm looking forward to when you play your boy![]()

UniSat Results
Mucho Calor Huy! 55-32 IUF Grabs
AC Few 41-44 Satellites RED
Toondrastic 34-38 Badm******s
RED United 31-26 Donkeytown
Rapscallions 40-30 UMBAA Laugh
Purple Mob 30-46 Dogs Bollox
The top 3 kept their 100% records intact this week, as leaders Satellites RED narrowly defeated awd's AC Few by 44 to 41, with T_G having Frank Lampard to thank as the Chelsea star scored and assisted in the Blue's 4-0 thrashing of Atletico. Neil's Dogs stayed 2nd by beating Purple Mob in an all-Den clash, and tomthebomb1968 continues to defy the odds as Badm******s struggle in SupaLiga but win against malcolm's Toondrastic in the Champions League 38-34.
Star of the week is SupaLiga champion mhku and his Mucho Calor Huy! team, whipping IUF Grabs 55-32 to go up to 4th as his top front man Adrian Mutu grabbed a brace for Fiorentina away to Debrenci in their 4-3 win. By points, mhku is actually joint 2nd.
scallywag's Rappers also enjoyed a major jump up the standing, go up 4 to 6th with victory over Den champions UMBAA Laugh, and finally RED United condemned Donkeytown to defeat by a margin of just 5pts.
Top play bottom on MD4 with Satellites RED facing Toondrastic, it's 3rd v 4th with Badm******s-Mucho and IUF Grabs play Dogs Bollox. It should be a week for movement across the league, with seven teams stuck on 3 points at present.

It's tight in the middle of the table, 9th place down to me in 14th is covered by a mere 4 points. I could kick myself as I missed changing priority on my subs and forgot to change goalies and thus have lost 13 points that I should have had............if I had not forgotten I would have been 9th position, bad management I say
You should blame the ref for being unfitIt is super tight at the mo, for example Norm (Donkeytown) dropped from 7th to 14th last week and has gone straight back up to 7th after this weekend.
