So, Greg Rusedski is out beaten in straight sets by Albert Costa. Greg is blaming a stomach upset/fever problem but I suppose the failed drug test is what most people would think was the main factor. It must be on his mind. In my opinion, Greg's career is over and, even if he eventually is cleared of the doping accusation, mud always sticks. I cannot see him being in top class tennis again.

Think that you're right Jimbo, I also think that it had probably finished prior to the drug incident, he seemed to have lost the plot.

Agreed Rolf.....Greg has slipped to 104 in the world list.

Good win for Tim Henman in straight sets though.

The dropping of the daily tonic seems to have hit him hard

Tim Henman through to the third round in 4 sets. He seems to be playing good tennis at the moment.

Yes, I believe that he is well respected by the professional players as being a skilful player, just a shame that his consistency is not the best.

Having said that, he makes a good living out of prize money and maintains a high ranking, something that we wouldn't have hoped from one of our players only a few years back.

But, of course, so near yet so far, as usual.

Yep, problem is that he seems to have a list of players that he cannot win against and it seems to be growing.
