CAS 3 Waiting to Start Programmed

Currently i'm using WINDOWS XP Pro.

When I try to run cas3 with cis8.6b programmed I just get a screen pic with "waiting to start programmed..." programmed does not start.

    I have done restart pc
then run CIS 8.6B and plug cas3 into usb.

Already follow readme procedures but still with same problem.

Previously this CAS3 working well with CAS7.4 until that software expired.

    Need Help..

    Hi mate,
Did you start the program without the cas connected, I have the feeling that you need to run it the first time without the programmer connected. I have not usd either of my cas interface programmers for years now, but as far as I can remember you must run the software with the cas connected.

    Regards Wez

Try uninstalling all the Cas software currently on your computer, disconnect your Cas 3, re-install Cas 8.6b and then connect your Cas 3 programmer.
Also check in Device Manager to see if the software is correctly installed, right click on My Computer, click on Properties, Hardware and Device Manager.

Try a differwnt USB slot and cable, if this fails try installing it on a different computer, using 8.6b.
The problem might be in the Windows registry, which can be repaired using a system restore or by re-installing XP.

How to program what? The Cas 3+ can program both cams and cards.

As Mickha suggests above. "Try using a different usb cable" the type with a ferrous choke(It looks like a plastic portion/cylinder covers the lead about 3-4 inces along the lead from one end) This worked for me in the past
