My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S, GDS 7000HD

    Testcards

Ok Im a sad old git but I love testcards of all sorts. Over the years Ive screen capped assorted types so I shall put a few here for your enjoyment.

Only a couple of rules for this section if you want to join in:

1)TESTCARDS ONLY on this thread please!

    2) no plain colour bar cards, although ones with idents on them are ok.

    3) please resize any pictures to a sensible size.

    4) put a basic description up of where it comes from (satellite & country where known)

Edit - With a few rare exceptions test cards fall into one of two types - the colour bar and the "circular" and it is these we are interested in here.

Information cards radiated in channel downtime & frequency change cards are outside the scope of this thread

Below are standard versions of the basic colour bar and "circular type" tc's and it is these we want to see here

(The circular type are normally variations on what is technically known as the Philips PM5544 card)

This rather nice one also comes from 13E but is unusual in that the central element is animated. It was for a new Italian service

Yes this is a colour bar, but this ones a bit special. I belive this one was coming off Astra 1B the final time she was reactivated. As you can see it was being radiated at horribly low power, and was basically a sparkly mess!

This was the best I could get the signal even after carefully tweaking the dish up (which involved kicking the tyre it was sitting on!)
