Strong SRT 4620 patch upgrade..newbie q's

hi...while on holiday in iran i found out EVERY one is getting the recievers updated with a patch to recieve all the scrambled channels!

i was amazed! what i want to know is what software do i need to upload the patch & from where i download it from and also where do i get these patches that unlock all the channels. further more where do i get the rs 232 cable from in the UK...or can i make it myself? seen a picture of a home made one and it wasnt that hard to wire up...

probably both, obsolete because it has been superceded (but hasn't everything?) and rare because most owners are now ex owners having consigned then to the bin, also please not that the thread you were viewing began in 2004 and the post you tagged on to was from 2006

You must realise that you are quoting from a post made in 2004, things were considerably different 3 years ago.

Lastly nobody on here will give you anything, we do not host patches or anything illegal if you want a patch for your stb then go to the links section and find a link to a website for your stb but I doubt there is any unofficial support for that stb
