hi,
could any one help me out.
i have a Sky-X STB, once i pulled out its power led and again connected then all the channles disappear. just only 8 channels shows in the list.
then after reset factory setting all the channels disappeared. i wrote E-mail to BOOT, and was suggested to upgrade its version. i did but couldnot fix the problem.
now could any one help me out

Please reset your STB to factory settings. Upgrade to a stable version like I use 1.90. U can find this on h**p://www.skypatch.net or 1.92 (recommended) from h**p://www.anzwers.org/free/skyx/index.htm
After upgrade, switch it off (mains power-off). Is should now be in factory reset and then start channel search normally and see if that can help you.

with respect, i'm pakistani but working a living in Tehran.
if it is possible to help me out to over come the problem.
i have a sky-x stb with having the software. 1.76 patch.
when i do scanning on the hotbird, for the frequency starts 10*** there is no signal, but if you scann for the frequency 11*** it shows every thing. instead of many cannels like dubai pmc etc.

i also defined the specifications of lnb fequency ( 9.** to 12.**)

you should upgrade your receiver

you should download loader version 3 :

STB-SKYX


download new patch for Sky xx receiver:

X_199p


download new softcam 21.09.2005:

Soft Cam 21-09-2005

after unzip files

please connect your receiver and cable
receiver is Stand by

you open loader and select Patch SkyX & select browse and select X_1.99p & select connect & click start
wait 2 minutes (2 times 100%)

after
open loader and select keys and select browse and select softcam 21.09.2005 and click conect and click start
wait 30 seconds

your receiver is now update by new firmware

now
turn on receiver and enter 69696969 code

and for biss channels enter 8280 code

and for manual code enter 8282 code

now you can see polsat - tps-tv cabo ,srg swiss,...... scrambled channels

Hi everybody,

Can Anybody help explain the process by which one changes codes visa the receiver's RCU? But please only for the MaxPlus HTS 7300L model by Hub-Tech.

I have Looked at Hub-Tech's site http://www.hub-tech.com/ and found out that many of their activation buttons/links do not work!

Perhaps somebody has a tech manual for this particular model?

I have encountered problem when updating the firmware of my X2 using ver. x_223, the power lost after it was updated 100%, i tried to power switch off and on again the receiver but it will display only the running green light for about 3 secs and power lost at all. I am regularly updating the firmware of X2 for more than a year and it was done succesfully, it was the first time i experienced the problem. Was it the problem of the firmware? or the reciever power circuit board? Kindly advise to solve the problem, or any idea/help is highly appreciated.

you should use New loader v1.8.4 & BOOT file . then upgrade your receivers by Boot.stb & X_224 . when saw 4 green line on your receiver then press connect (IMMEDIATELY) . all files (new loader - patch - boot ) availaible in w*w.skypatch.net

How do they convert the boot.bin to boot.stb format?

I've been using 224 Firm*ware in my receiv*er Skyx but it worked 1 day only. When I read message of our friend it looks working longer??
Should I follow the same prodcedure than for X2, enter a Sky boot?
I've never did it.
