Hyundai HSS-800ci Firmware

Hi team,

Does anyone have a firmware patch for a HSS-800ci. I currently have version 160 and wish to upgrade. I have been told their is a french bin file that opens up some extra options.

Hi,

I have also a good working HSS-800CI .
Now i have updated him with the upgrades from hisat.
The problem is now that i am lost everything.
I have anymore image , no sound ......
Even the menu or any key works , so i have a "dead" reciever.
Is it possible to upload your firmware ( bin. file ) with SatEditor and mail me once this file. Then i can download this file on my "dead" reciever and maybe he can works again.
Just like you i have tried allover the internet but don't find any firmware.

If you can do that for me it would VERY great.

There were two different update files, but they are for two different tuners, one will work and one won't. You probably need to re-flash with the other.

Yes i know it Rolf but any of this two works by me.

I have take off the cover and i can tell you someting more :

Tuner marked as : TBMU30351IPB 011103 CAAATR

Ram chips (2) are : Samsung 135 K4S1616220-TC80

On a certain chip there is a sticker with : HHS-820M VER 1.83C

Can someone tell me if this reciever really is a HSS-800CI ( they told me that when a buyed him secondhands ). Or is this a 820 ?

Can someone tell me what ramversion this reciever really have :
SDRAM, IMT or IPT ?

Al advices are welcome.

Send an E-mail to the contact details of the manufacturer http://www.hdt.co.kr/eng/ they do not appear to have any software in their download section for the HSS800ci, it is now obsolete, but invite you to E-mail them for any software that isn't there..

If you are looking for an update you will be unlucky, I think the last new firmware was nearly five years ago.

See my post above, this is an old receiver.

It out the other side of old - the HSS800 is ancient

They are good for the fta channels and little else these days.
