    Unhappy I'm Sooooo Odiot.......!!!

    Hi everyone,
yesterday I bought skystar 2 and as I saw at "idiot guides" I downloaded ProgDVB 6.02 and DVBviewer PRO 3.9.4.0, so I am trying to use these programs with "softcam.17.dec.2008" which I downloaded but I don't know how!! I downloaded the latest version from Yankse-1-31.0-TT-XP but it doesn't work cause I have vista x64.
I'm completely idiot cause I have search so much for a guide to use softcam keys and software and I don't have understand nothing!

If someone know and have time please send me a simple guide about
    PROGDVB or DVBVIEWER.

    Merry Christmas to EveryONE!!

Download vPlugin with latest keys, its much better and easier to use, just install it to the DIR of ProgDVB plugins and it will work.

Which satellites are you pointing to?
I suppose Hot Bird 13E judging from your location.
Perhaps I am mistaken, but AFAIK there is nothing there worth the trouble.

Best to go to vplug's main site -

    _http://vplug.baywords.com/

Yes, just put it in the ProgDVB's plugin folder. You'll need to update v_keys, search for the latest one.

Click on the Plugins tab when you start ProDVB and tick vplug and monitor.

Haven't checked lately, but as has been mentioned, not much you can clear on 13E now.

There is nothing on Hot Bird 13E.
    Which channels are you after?

Unless you have obstacles (trees, buildings) in front of your dish, there is nothing to prevent you to set it up on another satellite.

I guess you're out of luck! There is not much left to see with plugins like vplug (or with emus on set top boxes) at this time. The only important package that is left "open" is "Digi TV" on Thor/Intelsat 7-10 at 1°W.

    PS. Sorry for the greek!

No, TPS is a French package and it will leave Hot Bird 13E by the end of this year. Nagravision, Seca are encryption systems.
    Nova is secured with Irdeto.

Too much unwanted files in your Plugins.

You only need those I have in the snapshot.

The channels with a red icon are the encrypted ones. The only encrypted channel I can open on 13E is the one in the pic. Possibly it's clear ATM anyway

    Forget 13E, nothing doing now.

Actually you don't need all those files in every application (AltDVB, Progdvb, DVBViewer, etc), you only need two, vplug.dll and vplug.ini.

    21-12-2008 3-01-11.png

You install vplug in a separate folder (anywhere you like, the default is C:\dvbapps\vplug) and you only need to copy those two files in the dvb application plugins folder. There is just one more thing to be done, you have to edit vplug.ini (with a simple text editor, like notepad) and put the vplug's installation path in "FilesPath=" (without quotes), like this for example,

    FilesPath=E:\DVB\vplug

Anyway, as others have already said, there is not much to see (at least on Hotbird).

There is no need for softcam.key, only v_keys.db is needed. But you may import a softcam.key in v_keys.db (if it contains something new) using vplug's editor. Right click vplug's icon in the tray (the yellow disk), select "editor", go to the "keys" tab, and from "import softcam.key" you may import a fresh softcam.key. There is the possibility to delete older keys or import only new ones.

    Red face

How should I know what channels have unlo***d?
And.. last question in what sat do u suggest to install my dish??
    Is Astra a good sat?

It is a little complicated the whole thing about keys - sats - software, so does anyone know where to find a "simple guide about all these things which we r talking about"?
