can anybody help me, i brought 90 cm dish and universal ku+C combo lnb ,i connected the lnb using d-switch but i am not getting any signals from any of the sat(dd+,Abs etc i pointed to east around 75 deg elevation 57 deg, using formula given in the receiver),signal quality is as low as 4-5% even without connecting the lnb wire to receiver it is showing the same or more.what could be the problem is it combo lnb is faulty or is not good for use, i even tried using single lnb without using d-switch but no result.

i understand that i should be precise about the degree of dish to be placed ,but what about combo lnb as now i searched & read in some site selling combo lnb is not good for use with certain receivers, my is Chinese made receiver and universal GKC-D002 C+ku combo lnb .actually technical person who placed my dish also gave up and left ,after that i also put 3 days myself to adjust the dish but not a single signal from any of the satellite.as i also read in some section here that someone tested this about combo lnb it should be work one lnb either ku or C at a time . we tried that also.but failed is there any simple way we can test that LNB is working or faulty.
thanks for your valuable suggestions.
