Moaning Neighbour :-0

I gotta neighbour with the Standard Titchy mini-dish....... He keeps moaning that when it rains hard his picture pixaltes....... Would a Bigger Mini-dish help the problem ?

My own setup used to do that, till I moved the dish from the front of the house
& made a pigs ear of the installation

Anyways I thought I'd ask....... Not really tempted to help him too much as he ain't paid me fully for the last time I did some work for him

Is this the zone 2 minidish J.M.? They are normally around 75cm wide and when set up properly should give near troublefree viewing, if it is the smaller version, then accurate alignment is even more essential in your location.

Sorry I'm none too good with Zones ...... I just understand that Minidishes come in two sizes. (We got the Lil one) & I was wondering if the larger of the two was the thing to suggest :-)

At the end of the day the bigger the dish the more signal you are going to receive.
I reckon you're right to suggest the bigger one.

Which would be the better idea......... Triax Mesh Zone 2 (60CM) Wider than high
Or a Channel master 60Cm, Solid higher than wide?

I'm gonna go Quad with the LNB to future proof the installation :-)

Triax it is then........... I'm planning on a Cambridge LNB....... As Cambridge is a posh sounding place & hopfully a bit of its class will rub off on me

Thats the trouble with Sky TV...report a problem and they want to charge you to send out an engineer!...If you have read any of my post's on this subject! just tell your neihbour to phone up the 'Bad picture' section and to cancel his subscription...sky then change their tone by sending round an engineer for free!...I know this works as I did it once and it turned out to be a crapped LNB, which was replaced F.O.C.

CRUST. East Anglia is the 2nd biggest consumer of pies in the country. A survey found the Midlands topped the league. Chicken and Mushroom pies were the nations favourites.
My favourite is Cornish Pastie followed by Cheese and Onion Pastie

Perhaps I am showing my age and think back too much.
Keep pie makers in employment, eat pies thrice daily.

Can't disagree there Gmbp, although there are some good specialist pie makers still around and a specialist pastie shop is doing a fortune in a town near me. There is obviously still an appetite for them (excuse the pun), even down south, the Lancashire pies still take a bit of beating though, almost worth the 4 hour drive.

Well there is one pie that seems to have been out there forever! 'Fray Bentos'
when I was young I used to think my mum made them herself, till one day I saw the empty tin in the trash pan!

LOL, I am an unashamed lover of the F B steak and kidney pie, they were a bit of a luxury when we were kids and I still love the slightly artificial flavour.
