My System: Gone back to basics! Technomate 1500 flashed I have a 2.3 diablo in the draw & a motorised 1.2 mtr dish but if my local council ask it's only 1 mtr ;)

    Sly no subs excellent function...

Sly have been very clever to the tune of when you press the tv guide button you can see all the channels on offer...

In other words I have a sly card for ch4 & 5 sly 3 etc plus all the fta stuff, when I used to press tv guide I wouls see say "the simpsons" on & think oh good I will watch that.... but sadly I would then realise it was on sly 1 not sly 3...

This is where they were clever as it always made you want to subscribe.....

    Now...

set your favourites up now a maximum of 50...

Hit the tv guide & then hit the blue button & the only channels you can see you can clear... not a hack or a wonder cam just a great new function don't you think?

It's a shame that they didn't think to grey out the channels that are not subscribed to in the normal epg though, at least it would be easy to identify them.

Better still allow all the non-subscribed channels to be removed from the epg, and put the remainder into any order.

The favourites is just OK, but you can't use the up/down channel button between the favourite channels once one is selected.

As Sky make a tidy pile from epg slots (around 70k a year for a tv number plus additional "value received" fees) thats NEVER going to happen.
