    How is that?

It looks like the footprints on Flysat are taken directly from the sat ops webpages, which are far from the actual foot prints...

Flysat has been the most accurate for the past year or two. Lyngsat is often quoted as the place to go for satellite info but has frequently had inaccurate listings, as has KingofSat.

Just to throw a spanner in the works, channels with a lower FEC(i.e 2/3 as oppossed to say 5/6 are easier to receive) hence the new ITV . I found a good dish alignment tool from the spanish satellite dealer "www.diesl.com" go to acimut and tool allows you to pick satellites and location etc and get a needed dish size/guessed power level.

Of course, there is more error correction applied to 2/3 than say 5/6.

    The required Carrier/Noise Ratio (C/N) for 2/3 is 10dB and 13dB for 5/6

    My System: 1.5m Sky HD
I've lost Channel 4 on my SkyHD box EPG - Channel 4 HD still working and Channel 4 +1 still working.

Apparently not all regions have been switched to 2D yet - but it looks like mine has.

there are no more C4's left on 12186V, where they have been for a few years - they have all gone to 10714H

    C4+1 is still on 12480V

    C4HD is still on 11798H

Yup confirmed - the 9xxx labels have been renamed "Channel4" so presumably the SAky epg is now mapped across to 2D

my 104 is looking at 10714 - and it is experiencing breakup (i am not in the uk!) at exactly the same time as the ITVs that were here a few weeks ago.

    Makes sense A/S

I am right of course you could ATM still add channels through dodgybox on 12.168 to get 'C4L Test 1', no ?

I know I'm late for this thread(was distracted by other threads) but just wanted to add to this ch4 saga. I have a customer with a 3m dish who could not get the ITV which was the strongest signal for us from 2D(because her apartment is next door to a telephone exchange with a big tower full of transmitters and repeaters for mobile phones etc which is cancelling out 10.714H)and had to settle for Central S(10.832H) which would break up in the evening. Then a few weeks ago 12.402V opened up and she could receive ITV Meridian etc and she was happy. She was also a ch4 fan and she was one of the few who could receive it without interference(from Arabsat). Today I got a phone call"ch4's says no signal". Off course, now it's gone to 10.714v she can't get the signal.
Ps ch4+1 is weak in the evening .
    Talk about bad luck.

That is bad luck Zorba. Out of interest, how come ch4+1 is weak in the evening as it's the same beam & polar as 12168 (ch 4 old slot). Could it be attenuation as it's higher up the spectrum
