C4 +1 about to depart the widebeams?

All but 1 version of C4 +1 is reported as being fta on 12478V. (The Irish version is the one still encoded)

Presumably this is in preparation for them being switched onto Astra 2D, so make the most of it.

Must be very soon, and of course TT on 4 (channel 4) is on the same Tp; so that will be a total loss of Ch 4

The transfer to 2D is now imminent - 6 new numeric labels have appeared on 10729V

What A/S is saying is that Channel 4+1 as of yesterday is free to air on 12.478 (widebeam) and will shortly be moving to the spot beam (2d). Remain fta

There is a possibility the Northern Ireland sub region will stay on the widebeam as like the main C4 channel its still scrambled. Time will tell

presumably these will be the encrypted versions for Ireland.

Looks like Ch4 / Tag 8350 on this Tp has now gone due to the above A/S

Yes 8350 has gone. Its not needed now C4 is correctly mapped on the FS epg

One of the regulars on the DS forum reports C4 +1 is in the middle of swapping over to the 10729V frequencies so dont be surprised if you get NO SIGNAL messages if you are an expat with no 2D coverage.

Signal still there on 12480 but Sly box is mapped to look at new frequency on 2D

I see that 12.480V is showing Channel 4 & Channel 4+1 tagged as 12035 & 12040 NDS

I have free sat from Sky and im in greece so when i go to the main epg for e4 i get no sat singal being received, yet when i add 12045 as an extra channel i get a message saying ring sly to get an upgrade

Its not ftv - its subscription level encrypted and is for Ireland.

got a card from Sky this morning about changes to channel 4 and c4 + 1 on the 15th sept..any idea what its all about?? is it got to do with the title of this thread? oooh and e4 +1 is coming back too...so it says
