Hello
Ive been considering for many years to setup a second dish to be able to receive Astra2D, but Ive seen very few(recent) reception reports from my region of Norway, and the prices on dishes has also put a damper on this becoming more than 'just a dream'..
I live about 30km south of Trondheim _http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=100361048731259477186. 00045e422368d43c6ca98&ll=63.180545,10.315819&spn=0 .055919,0.220757&t=h&z=12"] with clear view towards 28.2E.
I found a used dish this week, but been advised to stay clear of it. Its a Fortecstar Prime Focus 1.8m. I have 0 experience with the brand..
I understand the size might be in the gray area reception wise, but how big does it have to be to get a stable lock so far up north?
And if all fails, how about the south beam on 2A+B? It seems to be well within my reach, but how small can the dish be? I would get a Sky card if this option should be realized. =)
I appreciate any help on my quest, thanx for taking the time to read this!
