    Lanzarote tuning question

Hi sorry if this is in the wrong section ?
Just moved out to Lanzerote and got Sky pluged in but i cant seem to pick up channel 4, nor itv. Im only using a standard dish not a 3.1m one. Any advice or any contact number would be much appreciated.
    Thank You.

Generally speaking C4 & ITV are on Astra 2D so you need the insanely big dishes to watch them. HOWEVER, there are one or two variations available off the narrow beam which you *may* be able to get

Up until recently these channels were available on the wide beams in Lazarote using the smaller dish.

If you want the BBC channels you are going to need a MUCH bigger dish - not a slightly bigger one!

Well i managed to grab some time and get on the roof today. There is a bigger dish up there id say 2meters approx, but no lmb and its pointing at a slightly different angle. Is it worth me putting the lmb from smaller dish on it ? and wireing it up?

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

You say your using a standard dish, what size is that out of interest?

2B North is also a problem, but can't be exact, maybe local member 'trigger' will see this post.

For any chance of a sniff of the uk spot beam, for example, a CM 2.4m correctly set up is the absolute minimum here but you won't get anywhere near 24/ 7 coverage.

The norm is a famaval 3.1m

    Hello

As per previous posts its quite a jump in size to get Astra 2D for BBC ITV etc. You can post mail me if you want me to have a look. I'm in Puerto but get to Playa Blanca at least once a week so I could pop in.

    Cheers
