Dish Input 2 on SKY+ Box

Hi there, can this be replaced?

I'm having trouble, when my box is recording I cannot view other channels until the recording is over. I can watch the program thats being recorded OK! Basically if I were recording BBC1 and switched over to BBC2 I'll be lucky to get a picture and if I do it's hard to understand what the actual picture is and also only snippets of sound come through. But if I were to switch back to BBC1 the channel thats being recorded all is OK!

Anyway, I think I'ne narrowed it down to a bad 'Dish Input 2' slot on the back of the Sky box. Basically when either of the cables are plugged into the No1 slot all looks well on the services menu. However, when any cable is plugged into the No2 slot nothing seems to register and it just stays on 'Not Locked'.

Can the connector for just the Slot 2 be replaced!?! If so, does anyone know where/who in the South Manchester area will do it?

try this first:
power down the Sky+
swap two feeds for LNBs
power up box
SERVICES - 4 - 6
look any different?

Have swapped over the cables going into the Dish Input 1 & 2 and still have the same result:

Input 1
Signal Strenght = Showing Approx 50%
Signal Quality = Showing approx 50%
Lock Indicator = OK
Network ID = 0002
Transport Stream =07d4

Input 2
Signal Strenght = Nothing showing
Signal Quality = Nothing showing
Lock Indicator = Not Locked
