My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S, GDS 7000HD

Probably - either the dish alignment isnt optimal or the dish just isnt big enough for such fringe areas.

There were no end of problems reported over last summer in Cyprus thanks to the very high humidity absorbing the sat signals.

ok well i guess i just have to wait until summer gets here to see what problems i will get. i have a 2.7 dish here in cyprus looked at a few places they want for the Sky reciever and dish way over 1000 we brought this one year old with the dish for 450 so was a bargain. its very good considering were not in the right location of the island to recieve all the channels with a 2.7

    Well

Just a little tip carleen, if you are near the coast, just make sure there is no salt build up deposited on the plastic cover of the lnb, it is worth cleaning off with mild detergent if there is, but be gentle and do not damage the plastic cover

I very much doubt that there will be any plastic covers on her LNB. Its almost certainly a C120 LNB with an an adjustable feed horn.

If the original poster wishes to post a piccy of the front and rear of the dish then I and a good few others would be more than happy to give more information about the setup.

    Cheers

My System: big dish, sat box thingy, colour tv.and a remote control.
Another problem for you Carleen is that you are on the wrong side of the island.Your 2.7 would get bbc/itv all day in Paphos. 4.2m dishes are all the rage round your way lately.
Bignick is right about not having plastic covers on your feedhorn,so the other problem is spiders.
