Bonum 1 at 56E is scheduled to be withdrawn from service in February.

Direct TV 1R will then operate until Express AT-1 is slotted at 56E.

Bonum 1, is 1.7 degrees inclined already so downlinked signals must be getting pretty nasty out towards the edges of the beam!

Launch date of Express AT-1 at 4 March 2014 .
Full operational until the and of same month !!!
25 new hd channels will be added at "Tricolor TV Siberia" package .

56E is a horrible spot. Both sats up there are heavily inclined - especially for domestic reception. I think Bonum 1 was the original 36E satellite, so it's OLD.

I receive all transponders of DirecTV 1R , when she's not maximum incline , even with linear lnb !!!
But all channels are encoded expect promo "Tricolor TV" .

Yeah, there's footprint over Cyprus so not surprised. Poles receive it as well with dishes over 2m. Haven't heard anyone receiving it further west.
