Hi finally got my sky + box working here in the extreme south of Italy (Brindisi to be precise) I am moving into a new place with a garden all of my own (no small feat in Italy) and so I decided I would like to put up a big dish, Thinking about a 3m dish but I doubt if that will help with bbc itv situation (looking for advise on this) If its not going to increase me pulling in bbc then I suppose 1.2 m dish would help with the signal, (also an lnb) anyone give me some good advise on what I should be looking for and places to go shopping ie online.

Thanks

It would be interesting to see your results for UK beam in southern Italy. We had someone receive it with a 4m dish in Naples, though not sure how much margin they had.

Also, check this map http://goo.gl/maps/Ha4xf - someone with a 3.4m dish was receiving some SD channels in Potenza but was marginal. I'd say your chances aren't good with a 3m dish where you are. Perhaps a 5m one?!
