This list isnt exhaustive but lists the APTN news feed frequencies Ive seen active in recent weeks UP8Charlie / APTN Direct 10970V 4167 5/6 APTN Lima 12730V 4167 5/6 ALPHA 10959V 4167 5/6 ACHO 10982V 4167 5/6 UP6November 12741V 4167 5/6 The names are not definitive - they do change occasionally. All these can be received here in south eastern Scotland at reasonable signal strengths on a 1m dish, although an a well set up 80cm should give you reception in good weather. (I put the 1m dish up as I found I was losing 10970V in anything more than light drizzle, and 10970V is definitely the most interesting one.) If you go hunting be aware not all the channels are active all the time, and its not unknown for the signal strengths to be turned up and down so you get no signal one minute and perfect reception 5 minutes later! During big stories extra channels are often set up at short notice. During the Haiti earthquake last year three or four additional services were set up due to the volume of reports being sent out of the stricken country.
