Could this be the replacement for EB1 for 11200-11450 GHz?

Not in that band at least, as 2C can only do bands D, C, E and a tiny bit of F.

Hmm! Will really be interested to see what beam EB1 replacement is on. And also, 11428 H well have to remain as 27500 SR 2/3 otherwise 3.5 million Freesat STB's will be consigned to the dustbin.

Are we sure it is even leaving yet? CoB data shows 2C at 19.3E from 29th March but no mid box data, is that significant? SES seem to like keeping old satellites +/- 0.1 degrees away from main satellites these days.

With a software update the home frequency can easily be altered.

The official status: "to be relocated".

0.1 degrees is hardly a relocation :-p but it's SES so you never know.

The Humax Technical Director popped up on Digital Spy's discussion on this issue to say that the boxes already have the sense to seek out a Default Transponder.

Can't recall the detail, but all the grumblers and doom-mongers went away happy.

I think it is moving, just veeery slowly. It's at 19.4E at the moment and edging its way to 19.5E next week.

Either that or its drifting out of control. ;)

CoB data now ends on 13.04.14. Perhaps 2C will finally start moving faster after that. She's still at 19.4E at the moment.
