FWIW - Ive got tens of metres of coax running up and down the garden round the house etc and for the strong Euro sats I use the ultra cheap stuff you get from B&Q. It works fine :D

Do you know the name of this B&Q cable?, i had a look round there recently and i could only find 1/2/3/4 core cable of the type builders use for household wiring/lighting etc, my run from dish to box is only about 4 meters so i dont mind using the cheap stuff:D

It's just sold as "Satellite Coax".

As far as I can recall, they don't get any more technical than that!
