Hi all, I receive freesat from Spain and I would like to subscribe to "la liga TV". I have read that you don't need to subscribe to sky UK but you need a sky box. I can't understand this, can anyone help?

At the moment I am using a 1.4 famaval dish and SF8008 Octagon box.

I suppose it is not possible to use the card in my box.

It can be added to any active sky card as a stand alone subscription, may need a UK billing address. The only way to read the card with the encryption would be a sky receiver.

Their FAQ says they can supply a card:

However if you try to sign up, one of the first things it asks for is the Sky viewing card number, and says the phone number you supply must match the one Sky have on record for the card. I would contact Premier Sports and ask first. As statalite said it will have to be done with UK billing details and a Sky HD receiver.

Can you receive FreeSports HD on 11426 V 29500? If not you won't be able to view La Liga TV as it is on the same transponder. A Sky receiver may not be as sensitive as your Octagon, sourcing the Sky HD box to check first would be worthwhile (either an Amstrad DRX890 or DRX595)

Ok, I confirm that I remove freesports and with some margin.

What is a billing address? Can anyone living in England help with this? I suppose they ask you for an address to send the card but maybe it is possible to pay by credit card.

An address you use to register and pay for the subscription. At the very least you'll need to use a UK address and phone number when signing up, and for them to send the card to. It might be possible to use a credit card not linked to the UK address but I don't know. The safest way would be to get a contact in the UK to subscribe on your behalf.
