On a Freesat STB does the channel at 101 also appear in the 950+ range? i.e. are their two copies?

For example if I pick London as my region, BBC One London is now at channel 101. Does it also retain its spot at 950, or does that entry disappear? Can someone please check on their Freesat STB and see if there are two entries for their local BBC One region.

Yes.

Whether you select your 101 by Postcode or by Edit Customisable Channels, the selected Region is not deleted from the back end of the EPG.

As Tivu says, the full range of BBC regions (and a couple of extra options for ITV and C4) is up there. IIRC this is the opposite of the Sky EPG where channel 101 default is exchanged for whatever region you choose.
