Yah well done - finding ANYTHING is the difficult bit!

However you need to check that you have actually found 5E - check your channels against this list (you wont have all of them - just the stronger transponder on the Europe beam)

If it is 5E then move around the arc one satellite at a time

Mark the dish up with indelible pen, tippex etc so if you get hopelessly lost you can quickly reset & start again.

Well done - as you might imagine from the fact we were able to pluck that natty Offset Dish sketch out of it's hiding place and bung it up for your consideration, your tribulations are by no means uncommon!

As for the Azimuth, well 28E does not mean that the Satellite is at compass bearing 152, for example.

If you actually lived in a location 28 degrees east of the meridian, in simple terms the satellite would be due south of you ie at 180. But even that isn't precise owing to all sorts of geomagnetic and other influences!
