Just found out that the latest Application Software Update for the Humax Foxsat has extended the range of Customisable Channels for EPG slots 101 and 102.
Previously , some people (like me) got eg BBC Yorks, not BBC NE & Cumbria even if they put in their correct Postcode (Caused by anomalies in the BBC allocation lists).
Yes, they could go to Edit Customisable Channels and find ............. their desired option wasn't offered (It used to be a very short and unhelpful list) !
But now it is - you can actually put any BBC1 Region on 101 or BBC2 variant on 102.
No such parallel feature for ITV of course - no doubt due to the fact that some of their regions are actually Encrypted.
Posted in Freesat Forum rather than specifically in Humax Foxsat Forum as it would be good if people with other Freesat Box models could check if their boxes have the extended facility since the recent Harvard group (Bush, Grundig & Goodmans) Application Software Update.
