Yes I am but might be wise to save the hassle and fit a new one?

Refurb = little or no cost

If it doesn't work, then I'll consider replacement, but the idea is to retain my meagre disposable income for higher priority stuff (Like holidays!).

TBH I am far more diligent these days ...since the fall and rise of Christina.
I can think of no dish related worse feeling than the one I experienced than I did back then ..stood outside in the rain following some mighty winds ...that felled her like some vengeful god smiting a mighty oak ...just because he could..
Soaking wet and tears streaming down my already wet cheeks.
I learned my lesson the hard way..
When it comes to dish mounting ..overkill ...overkill..overkill...and a large tub of grease.
cest la vie

Eutelsat 7W should be easy on a 1m dish - at least a good number of frequencies.

Yeah it should be unless my alignment of dish elevation is off slightly, it's weird. I'm using 1224 motor.

maybe I should get the 1.2m up there if I could lift the thing up the ladder, too blucky to lift hold and put the 4 bolts into adapter plate.

I have twin feed lnb so at some point will connect meter and move dish about to try find it.

Just fasten one nut and bolt to the dish first Wod and let it hang on the mount whilst you get one through, then remove it and fix the other 3 ?.

Before, when I've had to replace dishes (bearing in mind I'm on my own) I've mounted the bracket (on the pole or the motor stub) then gone up the ladder with the dish face and mounted it as Martin suggests. However, I think a CM dish face is probably on the heavy side, though I find (having short arms) it's the size of the dish rather than it's weight that poses the problem...
