Self- amalgamating tape, what's that? I'm joking, of course, but no I don't use it because nothing I do in my satellite garden is permanent. I'm forever changing LNBs to get the best possible compromise. Rubber boots, tape etc just get in the way, but now I'm paying the price! I'll certainly keep cabling above ground from now on, and I'll buy sat cable next time we drive from the UK to here, maybe early January. I've just noticed that the last drum of Televés cable I was recommended at a local electrical warehouse on the industrial estate is for interior use, so that's not going to last!
