With it getting colder I find that my 14 tog duvet with a blanket over the top still leaves me cold at night.

While leaving the heating on is one option I am quite tempted by the idea of an electric blanket, but I cannot get over the sterotype of an old couple plugging one in before retiring for the night after a long day of being a pensioner.

So, are these things really any good? Anyone have any experience? Should I get one?

I may be married for 13 years but old I am not.
I would not be without it come the winter months.
Just warm the bed for 30 mins before you get and and you are away for the night.
I did only buy one cus my grand parents had one and as a kid i loved it ;)
