[QUOTE="Leee, post: 193609, member: 175514"] I think it covers all versions....so I post it here in case I get the answer and get it working. I want crond so I can add to the crontab and simply reboot my 500 when I want. Gemini 2.80; nearly got there with some Dutch chap's EPG updater script but failed to wget the crond.gz file and can't find another. And don't have the bins installed with this image to make crond myself from source. So.....uname tells me this Linux dreambox 2.6.9 #1 Tue Mar 28 06:34:04 CEST 2006 ppc unknown and at that point, I don't know how to compile my own crond for the box :( I scoured IHAD for this too....best suggestion was perhaps to reboot -d on boot runing from /etc/inet.d/start?
