Hi guys

I am trying to restore an old Norton that is rotting away in my garage for the best part of 15 years. I managed to find the following information in a magazine, basically all the 1950 - 55 tanks used the same silver colour. The moden equivalent is quoted as
"Silver Birch GL3404/M"

However, my mate who is a painter could not find the information about this colour. Anyone got an idea what make this modern colour is?

He did find one Silver Birch made by Aston Martin 1965, but I am not sure.

I appreciate any comments :)

P.S. The picture is how it will hopefully end up looking

Thanks, good link!!
If all fails I will buy the paint from them - I am still trying to find the paint information so that my friend (who is a pro painter) can mix it on his paint machine thing

It's actually a 1950, mine is a 52 but not much difference. The 49 I think had larger front mudguards.Humping

OK, will look around for you, but I do get the sense you will need to join a Brit enthusiasts club for the difinitive answer.
