Is it possible to configure CCcam to prefer my local card if a channel is available both there and on a remote card? With only one C: line in the config, CCcam seems to prefer the remote card...

Some members have reported this as being a bug in CCcam.

There are ways to prioritize things in CCcam, you might want to look into this.

I have noticed lately that CCcam doesnt always choose the quickest / nearest server for its cards.

E.g. Friend1 is a bit slower with a certain card, when he goes off line friend2 is used (a quicker service). When friend1 comes back on line again. He is chosen for that card instead of the quicker friend2.

Sorry, I dont know why its happening so I cant help you any more.

Thanks compufunk. After some googling I get the impression that CCcam is supposed to prefer local cards over remote but then I realized that it might be my setup that is the problem. It is in fact my friend who has the C:-line to me and he has 2 dreamboxes. Only one of them has a card that is identical to mine (except for 1 channel) and I _think_ he put the C:-line in the other box thus making both these identical cards look remote to CCcam. I'll have to check this with him when I get hold of him.

It does sound like there's something wrong mate. I have 2 other cards that are 'Similar' to my local, but CCcam 2.0.11 never uses them until I zap to the channels I don't have on my local.

As I expected my friend didn't have the C:-line in the box with the card identical to mine. After moving it I haven't seen any ECMs to my card.

Hello,
just a question. i have cccam.cfg which has on one C line:
C: name.dyndns.org port# user pass 2 0 0 { 0:0:1 }
the server is offering me a lot of channels an one of them i have it's card
i want to make my DM to read from local card for this channels and read from remote server for others,, WHAT do i have to add in the cccam.cfg ??

Q2 i want to share this card to my friend what do i have to do/add to cccam.cfg, i know that i can't share channels from the server since the C line will not allow me to re-share..right?
thanks in advance !!

Just add an ignore instruction to yor c lines :D

C: name.dyndns.org port user pass no { 0:0:1, 0919:0 }

If you add this setting to the c lines that your receiver is taking from it should stop the problem.

The setting above is to make the receiver ignor a Sky Italia 919 card from the peer the from which the c line has been altered.

If its a Sky UK card (Caid ID = 0961) you set it as:- Caid ID = 0961

C: name.dyndns.org port user pass no { 0:0:1, 0961:0 }

If its a Tring Albania card ( Caid ID = 0baa) you set it as :-

C: name.dyndns.org port user pass no { 0:0:1, 0baa:0 }

If its a Dolce Romania Card (Caid ID = 092f) you set it as :-

C: name.dyndns.org port user pass no { 0:0:1, 092f:0 }

Just replace the first 4 digits of the line that is in red with what ever card number you require to be blocked :-righton

No a mixture of the two :-rofl2

Its slight mistake which i have now rectified :-lmao

Put 2 0 0 instead of Yes or No

The joys of doing copy and paste and being 2 days into stopping smoking :-doh!

Correct Normal line C: Thednsaddy.com port username pass no { 0:0:2 }

Correct ignor line C: Thednsaddy.com port user pass no { 0:0:1, 092f:0 }

Yes do the upgrade. It makes no difference what so ever if you remove the old one or not.

What card do you have ?

Go to the addons panel in your box, select Cams, and download & install CCcam 2.1.1. Once installed select it and start it. You do not need the other cams at all.
